    About: Managed by the National Park Service, the Grand Canyon sees approximately 6 million visitors per year. Most sightseers and hikers visit the South Rim which houses the Grand Canyon Village and Bright Angel Trial. It offers the most amenities but is often very crowded. The North Rim is the best place for backwoods camping and hardcore hiking because it is usually not as busy.
