Health/Dental/Vision Insurance - CCU offers multiple health and dental plans. We also offer a low-cost vision plan. CCU covers a significant portion of our employee's health and dental plan contributions.
Paid Time Off and Holidays - Above average paid time off that starts accruing on your first day - new hires accrue up to four weeks in their first year! Also 10 paid company holidays, and paid time off for volunteer activities.
Tuition Assistance - Per calendar year, CCU reimburses up to $2,500 for undergraduate studies and up to $5,000 for graduate studies for eligible employees.
Two Retirement Plans - CCU offers both a 401k plan that includes a company match as well as a pension plan that is fully funded by CCU.
Free Life Insurance - CCU fully pays for the cost of life insurance equivalent to one year's salary at no expense to the employee.
Short Term and Long Term Disability - These programs are 100% employer sponsored and no cost to the employee. If you become ill or suffer an injury that prevents you from working, this form of disability insurance replaces a portion of your income for a defined maximum period of time.

Bonuses - Member facing employees receive incentives for product and service sales. All employees may receive an annual bonus based on financial results.

"Dress for Your Day" Work Environment - If you work at our administrative buildings in Gurnee or Schaumburg or are there for training, jeans are just fine as long as you don't have external meetings. If you work at a branch or talk to our members via video, business casual is best.
Training and Development
Training isn't a first day formality, it's a journey based on your career path. We have an in-house team of training and development experts who will kick off your experience with us during a three-day orientation session. Onboarding continues with job specific training as needed to prepare you to exceed our members' expectations. Throughout your career with us, we are focused on developing you based on your personal career goals.
